Since Last Friday,
December 30th, 2011, fifty three fires broke out in the Los Angeles area. Nine of these fires were reported in the West
Hollywood area. Early Monday morning,
eleven fires were reported within a matter of two hours. Most were burning cars and carports in
apartment complexes.
A few days later,
police apprehended a pony-tailed suspect.
24 year old Harry Burkhart is being held on a $250,000 bail. According to sources, Burkhart is dealing
with immigration issues and could be taking his aggression out in the form of
arson. Police are almost sure they’ve
found their man as the fires have ceased.
All in all, Burkhart has done over $2 million dollars worth of
damage. Thankfully, nobody was killed by
the fires.
